Main Responsibilities:

• To maintain a formative environment conducive to academic excellence and high standards of formation and
to guide the students towards self-formation
• To demonstrate consistency and fairness in how all students are treated, helping with the smooth integration
of students from the start of a new school year and ensuring that there is no exclusion or favouritism.
• To promote and monitor student behaviour, encouraging good habits, virtues and attitudes
• To use positive motivation and personal attention to help students grow, respect others, develop confidence
etc.
• To supervise students during breakfast, lunch and evening meal (according to the rota), ensuring that the
students are eating well and following the guidelines on dining room etiquette.
• To create labels and post them for each house at the beginning of each term
• To support the English campaign
• To ensure that the students have their correct uniform, sports gear at all times and to observe that they have a
high standard of personal presentation.
• To be available to attend and lead trips where as required during the school year. To assist with trips
administration throughout the year, assigning teams, rooms and preparing the presentations for the students.
Contributing to all pre and post trip meetings.
• To oversee the student of the month for your section.
• To ensure that there is adequate supervision during your working hours according to the timetable.
• To ensure that all non-academic grades and reports required of you are submitted on time, as per the
Academy calendar
• Each month, To propose campaigns for your section regarding order, personal presentation, dining room
etiquette, speaking English and to ensure that the relevant team members do their part of the campaign
• To ensure that disciplinary matters are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, following the schools
guidelines/handbook and ensuring that the parents are kept informed of the steps and actions taken, as
• To meet professional obligations with regard to punctuality and attendance
• When working during the school day (if applicable to working hours) to cover classes for absent teachers as
requested and also to accompany students to doctor/medical appointments if required.
• To ensure that Aramark has an up to date list of any allergies, special dietary requirements of the students and
a list of the students birthdays in your section

Person Specification
The ideal candidate should have:
• A respect for the Catholic Faith and it’s teachings
• A genuine interest and concern for the welfare and wellbeing of the students
• Experience working in an educational setting or with teenagers in a group setting
• A high level of integrity and professionalism, as a role model for the students
• Emotional Intelligence
• An ability to adapt easily to different cultures (Mexican, Chilean and Spanish)
• An excellent command of English – both written and verbal
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Hands-on approach, a 'can-do' and enthusiastic attitude
• Display clarity of principles and gentleness in applying them
• A warm, caring approach, consistent with the industry within which we operate
• The ability to use your own initiative
• Flexibility
• A good sense of team spirit
• A keen attention to detail
