Our Client is seeking a Head of HR for their business to drive all HR activity that results in a unique People Experience.  This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the business through a period of innovative growth and positive transformational change, while delivering on operational efficiencies and providing best in class employee and customer experience.  We are seeking a strong visionary HR leader that inspires, manages and motivates others to deliver to the highest possible standards.

Key requirements:

  • Responsibility for developing, leading, and executing a strategic HR plan to actively develop and lead a performance culture
  • Oversee the HR function within the business, contribute to the development of a robust culture through role modelling values and behaviours which drive a culture of engagement of all employees and build a strong organisational commitment.
  • Responsibility for all companywide (ROI & NI) HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, mentoring, salary and conditions, contracts, training and development, talent management, succession planning, driving performance appraisals and any other HR related issues).
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the HR and Talent Acquisition team members
  • Build a culture of performance across the organisation with oversight and continued development of the Performance Review & Talent Development frameworks
  • Manage and deliver on identified key performance indices as agreed with management.
  • Develop and implement talent management programmes and systems for management/operational team leads, providing guidance, coaching, mentoring and regular feedback to support in strengthening specific knowledge and skills to lead their teams successfully.
  • Shape and grow organisational culture further in areas of talent, wellbeing, engagement, diversity & inclusion
  • Create a leadership development framework to maximise leadership capability and embed a coaching culture in support of delivering on strategies to include planning, budgeting, reporting, including evaluating people and culture results and trends.
  • Responsibility for all employment contracts, employee mobility, onboarding, work permit applications and relocation/transition.
  • Create a compensation and benefit strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys
  • Coordinates the planning and preparation of relevant grant proposals for one or more departments; provides guidance and assistance in the interpretation of funding agency regulations and requirements.
  • Advising management team on HR issues and changes to employment law & employee contracts.
  • Responsibility for Occupational Health & Safety policy and providing training on the same.
  • Produce accurate reports on a monthly basis in order to provide relevant information to the Board of Directors.

Key requirements

  • The successful candidate will be degree accredited with CIPD certification.
  • 10+years’ experience at least five of which must be at Management level ideally in the Technology Sector
  • Exceptional stakeholder management experience with an ability to originate and lead organisational strategy, change and transformation across a business.
  • Must be experienced in engaging with business and public agencies – IBEC, Enterprise Ireland, ISME, etc., and represent the Organisation at the relevant forums.
  • The ideal candidate must bring to the table proven ability to influence and negotiate, organised, innovative and results driven with the ability to participate at leadership level driving the HR agenda and ensuring alignment with the overall goals and objectives of the business.
