Job Summary: Our client is seeking a seasoned Channel Account Director to lead their efforts in nurturing and expanding our channel partnerships across Ireland. This role is pivotal in developing strategic relationships with key channel partners, driving sales initiatives, and contributing to our overall ICT business growth in enterprise and public sector business area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel strategy, account management, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategically build and develop relationships with key channel partners to enhance ICT business growth and mutual success to increase revenue and market share.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand clients market presence.
  • Develop and implement tailored account plans for each channel partner, focusing on shared objectives and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify and pursue new sales opportunities in ICT domain including wired and wireless network, optical, IT data storage, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute joint marketing programs and sales initiatives.
  • Ensure channel partners are trained and equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell and support Clients products and solutions.
  • Work with account, technical, support team for large opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the ICT industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between client and channel partners, ensuring excellent communication and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting and track partner performance against agreed-upon metrics and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the channel business.
  • Must be extremely motivated with a passion to develop profitable new business and maintain profitable existing business and relationships


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of experiences in Channel Sales or Enterprise Sales experience in ICT industry, particularly in IP, Networking area.
  • Detailed knowledge of the local Irish Enterprise ICT market and key Industry players with established contacts and experience selling Networking / Storage / ICT solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, account management, and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
