Risk Analyst - Global Tech

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for financial analysis and risk modeling? We’re looking for an experienced contractor to take charge of our client's PD (Probability of Default) model input process. In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy and completeness of data inputs, run models, and generate insightful reports that drive key decisions.

What You Get:

  • Competitive salary of €84,000pa
  • Role to start on an 11-month contract
  • Hybrid working: 3 days onsite per week in state of the art offices in Grand Canal, Dublin

Day To Day:

  • Ensure PD model inputs are accurate and complete, maintaining high standards throughout the process.
  • Run the PD model to calculate outputs, delivering critical insights into financial risk.
  • Match and collate financial data into templates, generating detailed reports with analysis and recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison with Portfolio Managers to communicate risk movements and collaborate with internal stakeholders on project requirements.
  • Review external and internal data for accuracy, coverage, and completeness, ensuring all deliverables meet stringent quality standards.

Your Background:

  • Degree in relevant field, 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, ratios, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL for pulling data from multiple sources.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
