Automation Solutions Developer

We are currently looking for a standout Automation Solutions Developer who embodies all our clients values: This is a Dublin-based role as our headquarters are in Blanchardstown. However, you would have the flexibility to work under hybrid conditions where you can work from home up to two days of the working week.

The perfect candidate will assist to provide and build solutions to our customers mainly located within Europe. This role requires an individual who is highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure by handling multiple assignments simultaneously as well as learning new skills and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct customer site surveys with Project manager (on occasion)
Review functional specifications from a technical delivery view point
Gather customer requirement and translate them into technical work items
Design, develop and configure .Net solutions in accordance with agreed customer requirement specifications
Complete application design, code, unit test and integration test tasks to Emydex’s documented .Net development coding standards
To use our simulator software to build & model real-world environments
Have an analytic mind to be able to visualize an automated solution and offer insights on how to better engineer it
To be able to build solutions that can handle a lot of simultaneous real-time data
If required, go on-site to help deploy or debug an automated project
Manage own Workload through Kanban Boards
Provide information on past projects when queries arise in relation to development for new customers
Provide 3rd level technical support to customer support technicians where required (on occasion)
Provide Recorded demonstrations of functionality

Skills Required:

Knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology
Proficient in C# language
Good understanding of object-oriented programming
Experience working with Modbus, OPC UA or MQTT
Experience working with IIoT or similar devices
Experience working with Desktop Application
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
Experience of PLC Programming would be an advantage
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server
NoSQL experience would be an advantage as would an understanding of timeseries data
