Salary: €42,000 - €48,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Debt Recovery Agent to join our client, a public sector body, on a temporary basis. This fully remote role will involve extensive phone and email contact with debtors, specifically focused on chasing down unpaid invoices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact debtors by phone and email to recover outstanding payments.
  • Manage a portfolio of unpaid invoices, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and communications with debtors.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to provide updates on debt recovery progress.
  • Utilize INTEGRA financial management system to track, manage, and report on debt recovery activities.
  • Ensure compliance with debt recovery procedures and protocols.
  • Attend remote meetings and training sessions via MS Teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of debt recovery processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar debt recovery role is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communicator with a confident and assertive personality, able to negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly IT-literate with experience in financial management systems (preferably INTEGRA), MS Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote environment.
