Position Overview: The Data Centre Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the data centre business in Ireland. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the data centre industry, strong business acumen, and a proven track record in business development. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive the growth of the data centre business in Ireland.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, technical, and product teams, to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
Lead negotiations and close deals with prospective clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals.
Monitor and report on business development activities, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the data centre industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of the data centre market, including infrastructure, colocation, cloud services, and managed services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required to meet business objectives.
