About the job Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to grow Huawei's ICT business within the public sector in Ireland.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the public sector.
  • Understand the specific needs and challenges of the public sector, offering customized solutions that leverage Huawei's broad portfolio of ICT products and services with Huawei channel partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including channel partner team, technical support, product development, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and government policies affecting the public sector, using this information to identify new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide timely and insightful feedback to the senior management team on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to our clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to build relationships with high-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Proven experience as an Account Director, Business Development Manager, or similar role, with a focus on the ICT sector and public sector clients.
  • Familiarity with the public sector's procurement processes and regulations in Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of the ICT industry needs, including wired and wireless datacom networks, LAN & WAN, WDM, GPON, FTTx, Data Storage, data center networks, etc.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
